So now that I'm at least online here's my uneducated to-do list:

Updates
Get Audio production software working
Explore other available media software
port-in or replace my Windows optimized web-cam
Explore using MOL or somesuch to use my existing DAW (CubaseLE).
port in my Tascam US122 interface.
Find a compatible Keyboard interface (the Line6 interface looks sexy, but the M-Audio interfaces may be more compatible.

Everything else seems to be working for now. On second thought, Juk doesn't seem to play my old iPod files or index them. Noatun plays stuff but doesn't index them. I welcome feedback!

Hi folks. Don't know how often I'll blog, but I'm glad this feature is here. I recently got frustrated with XP and wouldn't touch Vista with someone else's computer so I'm giving Debian a shot. It's been a struggle.

I've been bootlegging wireless (with permission) and began with a DVD install. Then I cooked my wireless nic trying to reinstall windows so I could download some of the other bits. Finally I got a hard line today, so now I'm trying to patch up the things that aren't working.

When I was young I wished there were someone who could help me learn about computers. Now everyone has a computer, and should be using Linux, but using Linux isn't an immediate option for sufferers of attention deficit disorder (ADD), comprising the vast majority of Windows users, because it isn't entertaining, and making noises. I do not have sound since I moved to a new location, and I haven't needed it for over a year, so I haven't hooked it up yet.
