Tags:

After a recent upgrade of Testing, the Debian menu has disappeared from the Gnome applications menu and I can't find any way to put it back. What's up with this?

Where's the Debian menu?

Apparently, the program "alacarte" has to be installed for the Debian submenu to appear in the Applications menu. There seems to be some problems with the interoperation of Gnome and Debian menus, though.

Right click on Applications, choose "edit menus", then check the show item box for Debian.
