What the heck is a Zorkmid?

You don't know what a Zorkmid is?! This link will give you some background and history on the word.

Zorkmids are the site's currency.

You can earn zorkmids mainly by creating content. Some content created will earn you more zorkmids than other types of content.

The main purpose of zorkmids is to collect them and to show off how helpful you are and what an asset you are to the debianHELP community.

However, with that said I'm brainstorming ways to allow you to spend your zorkmids. That way you'll go broke and will have an incentive to earn more -- just like a real economy. :-)

Sure...most I do here is ask. Sometimes, the type of a question is 'how to make this very specific mountain which is obstructing only my view, come to me?'. Amazingly, there are people here, like pinniped, who are able to solve even these problems. And, you get this for free. It's maybe even indecent to mention that. Great thanks to them. Free world would not be able to survive without those folks!

The wikipedia-link on zorkmids is deleted!
you could link to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zork to give some background information on the game in which the money was used/"invented".
maybe someone can place some information on this in the zork-lemma (is lemma the English word for a wiki-page or dutch??) or just put some info here...

as of 01 October 2009, there is a REAL zorkmid for sale on ebay!!
