Klaptopdaemon vs. kpowersaveBoth kpowersave and gnome-power-manager have been worked before but now I have a strange problem. Battery status is updated only plugging/unplugging power cord to laptop. Otherwise battery time remains in 3 hours then 2 hours while klaptopdaemon shows right information. Problem occurs both in kpowrsave and gnome-power-manager and also in kde-guidance. Only klaptopdaemon seems to be working. Also suspend-to-ram is working only in klaptopdaemon. The kpowersave complains that laptop (Acer 1650) is not supporting suspend-to-ram. The problems started after compiling kernel 2.6.22 from kernel.org but after that I rolled back to kernel from Debian. |
