Installation of Sarge 3.1 from CD-ROM does not start.

I'm trying to install my official copy of Sarge 3.1 onto an older Compaq Presario (2.8 GHz) machine. I configured the machine to boot from CDROM as the primary boot drive. Once I insert the first installation CD and rboot the machine, I get the Debian Boot screen (as expected). Following the installation instructions, I enter in the following command at the boot prompt:

linux netcfg/disable_dhcp=true debian-installer/framebuffer=false

Once I hit enter, I see the following entries:

Loading linux......
Loading initrd.gz......

Then the machine reboots and I get the Debian boot prompt again.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Scott
