Enable grub boot success messages

Hi,

Maybe it's a stupid question, but I can't figure it out myself...
I'm trying to edit my grub boot messages to display if the processes succeeded or not. You know, the [OK] and [FAILED] messages at the end of the line. Probably I have to add something to the grub configuration files, but I can't figure out how to do this. Can somebody help me with this?

Thanx!!

That would be nothing to do with Grub - that would be a major edit of numerous startup scripts; for more clues look at the startup scripts from any RH release, or if you have Knoppix (you should have some live CD to help fix things when stuff goes wrong) look at the scripts in /etc/init.d for clues on how it's done. They're even displayed in pretty colors!

Hey, thanx! That is indeed

Hey, thanx! That is indeed what I mean. I always thought it had to do with Grub. I'll take a look at it! Thanx!
