Problems with flpsed: No menu text

Dear all,

I just installed the lates verion of Debian package flpsed. It runs without error but the menus are "invisible", i.e., they text is not shown. The menus have the size as if they would contain text and the options can be used. But - of course - it is hard to tell which these are as there is no decription. See the attached image.

What is the problem here?

uname -a
Linux monster 2.6.16 #3 SMP Tue May 9 15:36:55 CEST 2006 i686 GNU/Linux

Update: I just installed flpsed on Kubuntu 6.06.1 LTS. There, it works without any problem.

Yours,

Ulrich
