64 bit xen and 32 bit domu's

I don't know if this is the correct audience for this so here goes.

I have a 64Bit amd dual core server. I'm running Etch on it along with the current version of Xen that is in the stable apt.

I can create and run 64bit etch domu systems with no problems. However, I can't seem to get a 32 bit etch system or any other 32bit system to run.

If anyone out there has done this, I would greatly appreciate some insight as to how this was accomplished.

Thanks

Why do you need to install the 32-bit version?

Re: 64 bit xen and 32 bit domu's

I don't know anything about XEN, but presumably it would need a 32 and 64-bit API to support both 32 and 64-bit systems at once.

For Linux it may be easier to install a 64-bit system which hosts a 32-bit system - in this case the kernel is compiled (default in Debian) to support both 32 and 64-bit library calls. The only nuisance is that you'll have a pretty big mix of 32 and 64-bit libs just to support a few 32-bit apps.
