Are there still any active Sarge mirrors?

I goofed my install up on an older sarge machine, upgrading to etch just won't work yet as I need to have my ducks in a row with sarge first. In the goof up I got rid of my valid Sarge apt-get locations.

So, does anyone know of some still-valid Sarge mirrors out there? I was doing a google search and couldn't find any.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Re: Are there still any active Sarge mirrors?

Hi
Try this mirror in your /etc/apt/sources.list file:-
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ sarge main contrib non-free
deb-src http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ sarge main contrib non-free

It was working sometime back for me on a sarge machine.

Some newer packages if needed can be got from backports.
Support may suffer once lenny releases. Suggest that you put the ducks in line fast.
also my suggestion for newer systems which do not work with sarge (particularly newer
hard disks) i recommend kenshi muto's newer kernel installers for sarge.
http://kmuto.jp/debian/d-i/ is the link to download them from.

Hildebrand
