FAQ experts (psuedo-moderators) wanted

We have a new FAQ system in place. You can access the FAQ directly, directly ask/answer a FAQ, or submit a FAQ to be answered by an "expert". It is that last option that we're interested and will probably get the most use.

We need "FAQ experts"! These are the people who will answer the submitted FAQs. These FAQ experts are just regular users who will have moderation powers over the FAQ. FAQ experts will be able to add, answer, delete, edit, and otherwise have power over the FAQ subsystem.

Want to take a crack at helping out someone by answering a common problem? Then why not become a "FAQ expert" -- all you need is some time and some general GNU/Linux knowledge.

If you're interested, just leave some feedback to ask and I'll change your permissions giving you FAQ expert access.

Sign me up!

Of course, I reserve the right to ask more questions than I answer!

Great -- thanks. You're now tagged as a FAQ expert.

When a FAQ is waiting, you'll get an e-mail notice and an "Unanswered FAQs" box will appear on the left side of the site.

(And as an added bonus, the CAPTCHA challenges will disappear for FAQ experts. :-)
