Desktop Background not Correct on LoginI can set the Gnome desktop background---to a jpg or png file---using System->Preferences->Appearance, however, the next time I log on I don't get it. As soon as I start the gnome-appearance-properties application the background immediately assumes the value I specified before without my having to specify it again.
