Printing to Network printer on Win XP MachineI have a home network set up, One computer running Debian and One running Windows XP. I have a HP3740 deskjet printer installed to the WinXP machine and I'm trying to print to it from my Debian machine.Have installed and configured (I think) CUPS, SAMBA, and SMBCleint.HPIJS drivers have been installed. Configured CUPS and installed network printer with localhost:631. I can send a print job to the network computer and it will see it. Printer will show job printing (on winxp machine), and make noise as it's sets up to take paper, but nothing will print. It seems to be doing everything it's supposed to be doing except actually print? Can anyone help? Bookmark/Search this post with:
