how to get kernel version 2.6.24-1-686 on lenny

Hi,

One of my previous lenny installation attempts, I somehow ended up getting updates to install kernel version 2.6.24-1-686. For some reason, this one attempt, the update manager has not give me that option. Is there anyway to invoke that option or go about installing 2.6.24-1-686?

The motivation to get this kernel version is to install Avidemux 2.4. With the 2.6.22-3-686 version, I am getting broken messages trying to install Avidemux.

Thanks in advance for your help,
Hoang

I use kernel 2.6.22 and Avidemux 2.4 is working perfectly.
I think your system is broken in one way or another...

Same as above, to see what's available for installation use apt-cache search linux-image-2.6.24 and then apt-get install to install the kernel. Maybe your sources.list is rotten...

OK - I thought all sources are the same. I added ucberkeley and voila. Thanks.
