Hi,
I recently bought a new Toshiba Satellite A200-23U equipped with an intel 4965AGN wireless card. I am using Debian-testing(lenny) with a 2.6.24-1-686 kernel that includes the iwlwifi driver for my card.i also installed the firmware of the card (firmware-iwlwifi). The problem is that when i use the command modprobe iwl4965 to load the module, the system stops to respond(crashes). Any ideas why is this happening???? Thanks

A daemon needed to be installed in old style packages. Dont know about this version. (firmware-iwlwifi should be enough from what I read).
Install the relevant packages and see after reboot if it works properly. for older 3945 I think some daemon needed to be running before the module is loaded.
