gs hogging my resourcesHi, From time to time, i get gs process eating my memory, hard disc and computing power of both processors. The only gs i know about is ghostview, but this process is run independently in the background, and I don't have a clue how this happens. A virus? |

Check out the various CRON jobs. Who knows - maybe someone is scheduling ghostscript for converting documents.

That was my thought as well, but even after removing my suspect, gs is still running from time to time. Well, there is always renice.
