Don't you just love the Harvard MBA types? They're always looking for a way to get higher pay by screwing over the average American. Now they say 40% of jobs in the USA can be done overseas just so local companies can make a larger profit:

Unfortunately, since StarBucks is closing down some shops, that means a drop in employment. I can't remember when the Harvard guys came up with the "knowledge economy" nonsense (every other nation is too stupid to invent things) and the "service economy" BS (everyone can work for the clown with the big yellow arches), but it looks like they're working toward making the USA a "service economy" - to me that means flipping burgers and scrubbing toilets. For 20 years I've been saying the USA has got to get its manufacturing base back in order (and for 15 years I've been saying Australia needs a manufacturing base - stop importing low-skill workers and calling them "skilled") but it seems the first thing learned in business school is "sell your mama down the river if it'll fetch a buck."
