Problem with PCMAN file manager !!!!!!!!!!

recently i started to facing this problem with PCMANFM

after opening pcmanfm the desktop gets black and then cant do any mouse strokes on black area ...
have to kill pcmanfm to return to normal ..

any suggestions guys ?????

Just go to preferences and uncheck the manage desktop option.
