Program that alows responses to articles on a web pageI am the administrator for a web page (Politics of Health). Our forum has not worked out well, and we want to set it up like alter-net or any of those sites that publish articles and allow readers to respond. I was not selected to be the administrator of this page because of my technical skill. I can handle HTML and CSS but am definitely not a programmer. Need something more or less user friendly that I can plug into the page at the right places. Maybe a program that comes with some instructions about setting it up. jedson |
Re: Program that alows responses to articles on a web page
When you mention a plug-in to do this, it makes me think of using a web-based service. Two that come to mind are http://disqus.com/ and http://www.haloscan.com/. I've only used these from the user side, so I can't comment on them from a webmaster perspective.

Thanks for the suggestions. The Discus looks like a real possibility. I'm checking it out. Someone just destroyed the forum we do (well, did) have up by loading it with pornography. I think they didn't like some of the contents on our page. Good thing I was getting rid of it anyhow.

PS 2+0=2. I know that. It doesn't mean that I am human though.
