Can not mount - help

Tags:

hi all,

I'm new and i have have been assigned to lookafter a debian VMware by my boss.
I don't know much aboutdebian and one of the thin i need to do it to mount a drive from Novell server environment into debian. I was using the ncpmount command but it came back with "unauthorised workstation..." what does this mean? does this mean that I have to assign static IP or do I have to create a user which has permission to access the drive?

sorry it is very little infomation but any clue or help is much appreciated.

Thanks
Arda

You probably need to login to eDirectory before you can use a shared drive. That means you have to setup your system to use eDirectory authentication.
