To the newcomers by a former, present and future newbiePeople this is a great forum. It recently got refurbished, therefore not so many posts. However the Old Site link is full of gold, and guys(and girls?) who frequent the forum will provide you with useful advice in majority of cases. Debian was the first Linux distro I've used (good old Woody) and through this period of couple of years, with the help of this site, I've managed to get from that old tar -xzvf thing to installing Linux on the most modern notebook platform.
