Install for amd64 Turion X2 asus A6T notebookI tried to install debian on an ASUS A6T, which succeded only partly. The DVD's wouldn't work due to an error in the MD5 check when using expert boot. I first used the 1st CD iso, but couldn't get my network up and running, after that the Netinstall iso. The network gets configured, but I can't get any traffic ... as the network gets setup as ipv6, which is not supported by my own network, nor by my ISP. I get a base system (period) but I can't get programs, kernel images, or whatever I require. What should/can I do to install a system and get a kernel with ipv4 support. Carl P.s. used : |
