Define "good". Smile An idea of how you download, frequency, number of files, etc., might also be helpful.

This might help. Myself, if I have to download a large number of files, I just toss them into a script and use wget. I like the fact that with wget I can set an amount of bandwidth for the downloads to use, and have a lot of flexibility over how it does retries. But since wget is a command-line tool, I could understand if one says it's not user-friendly.

JDownloader or DownThemAll + Flashgot

I use these two.
I prefer the first one.
It's a java application and runs very nice under Debian OS.
You can download it from JDownloader site.
If you need more help leave a message.
PS. Sorry for my english. It's not my native language.
