Video Card WoesI have a dual boot machine, one hd has windows the other Linux. I have been using this setup for years and it works fine, up til now. I'm using Lenny and very happy with my system. I screwed up and installed a new video card and setup the windows side with no issues at all, I forgot about my Linux drive until i went to boot up a few days later. It boots fine til it hits startx then the screen is blank and Im sure its waiting for name and password with the old video settings. How can I reconfigure my video settings? |
Re: Video Card Woes
I guess you can press ctrl+alt+f1 to switch to console. Then, try to remove the drivers package for the old card and then find appropriate drivers (hopefully as an official debian package) for the new card and install it.
