Slow firefox/konqueror text flow

Hi guys!

I did an upgrade about a month ago (I'm using Sid), and after that the text flow is REALLY slow in firefox and konqueror. Whenever I try to scroll up or down, the pages scrolls in steps of like 1/2 a second each. It doesn't matter if I use the scroll wheel, page down/up, or the scroll bar... it always happens.

Any idea what I might want to look into???

smooth scrolling

It could be smooth scrolling. That checkbox is under Edit... Prefererences... Advanced tab.

It could also be the wrong graphic driver.
Check that you have the correct graphic driver with

dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
