Source packages and versioning

Apt-Get Package Installation Issues

I've just rebuilt tinyproxy from the source package so that I could enable transparent proxies.

However, now when I run "aptitude upgrade" aptitude (and apt-get) wants to install the binary version from the repository.

How can I increase the version number on the .deb that I compiled so that this doesn't happen?
