X doesn't work with 1280x800 resolution... please help...

Hi guys!
I have a prolblem with the resolution of my monitor. It is a laptop with 1280x800 pixel BUT X START with a resolution of 1024x768! So little characters are very bad! I read a lot of posts but I don't solve my problem.
My video card is an Intel 945GM and the PC is a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pi1505.

PS1: I have try the command: dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg and I configure video card as i810 and monitor with the righ resolution---->I don't resolve the problem!
