Cannot connect to samba share from remote Win XP [Solved]

I installed and configured samba following this howto: http://www.debianhelp.co.uk/samba.htm
I have created a share and added a user.

On the debian machine I can access the shares including the ones on the Win XP machine.
But from the Win XP the login password is rejected if I try to access the samba share.

I haven't added the user to the smb.conf like in the example since there was "public = yes"

[SAMBA]

path=/samba
browseable=yes
writeable=yes
valid users = ruchi
admin users = debain

In the debian smb.conf it look like this, I have attached the full smb.conf

[leech]
path = /home/fabre/data
available = yes
browseable = yes
public = yes
writable = no

What am I doing wrong?

Nevermind, I rebooted both machines and it works now.
