where does kmail keep its mail files?

Hi all
Where does Kmail locate its mail directories? It is evidently in a
different place than where I am used to it being.

Thanks

Thanks Nigel

That is the place I first went to look, because that is where I'd

expect them to be. Only thing I have in /home/user/Mail/inbox is "1". I

was wondering if they were kept in /opt or something, because they

don't seem to be in .kde or any other (obvious) dot directories.

The only other suggestion I had from the KDE list when I wanted to move mail,
was to look in /home/user.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail . That's a bit hit and
miss, but you might find it there.

Nigel.

If you are thinking about backing up data as well as moving mail data to
another system you will also need to grab the config file:
~/.kde/share/config/kmailrc

That's good to know - I'll note that for future reference.
