RTL8168/8111 not recognized installing Debian

I have a portatil computer ASUS Z53J runing on Windows XP.
When I try to install DEBIAN using the minimum possible downloaded image CD do not recognize network card , so it cant continue inastallation as is not capable to connect internet to download the rest.
¿How can I obtain the driver for RTL8168/8111 and how to include at installation time ?

RTL8168 driver

A quick google showed that some people were getting the driver directly from www.realtek.com.tw/downloads. You can get to the desired driver following links on the left side of the page.

Probably, you want to install from the full installer CDs or DVD that do not require the net to get to a command line with the necessary development tools. Supposedly, the release of Etch is imminent, so you may want to wait for the official Etch CDs/DVDs.

I saw a thread that claimed that the r8169 would work for the rtl8168 for kernel version 2.6.19 and higher. That requires a custom kernel compile, since the Debian supplied kernel is at version 2.6.18 in Etch. I wrote a short blog entry on my experience with compiling 2.6.19.1.
