Problem with growisofs

Hello,

I'm searching for days now why I can't burn DVD, growisofs return a genisoimage error:

$ growisofs -speed=8 -dvdcompat -overburn -R -J -Z /dev/hdb dvd1/
Executing 'genisoimage -dvdcompat -R -J dvd1/ | builtin_dd of=/dev/hdb obs=32k seek=0'

:-( write failed: Input/output error

I've tried everything: searching options for genisoimage to make the error disappear, looking for known bugs... NOTHING !

Is anybody have had this kind of problem ?

Thanks
