timidity cannot find configuration file - solution.

Another problem with my new Debian system. I used synaptic to get the timidity package and when run it complained about a missing configuration file.
This one can only be solved as root, by editing the configuration file that it is looking for to put in a lines something like
dir /etc/timidity/instruments
bank 0
0 acpiano
and putting a collection of .pat files into the specified directory. These files have to be found elswhere on the internet or created by other programs.
