[Sarge] errors processing xlibmesa

While updating Sarge, aptitude 0.2.15.9 produced this error message:


Errors were encountered while processing:
/var/cache/apt/archives/xlibmesa-gl-dev_4.3.0.dfsg.1-14sarge3_i386.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
Ack! Something bad happened while installing packages. Trying to recover:
Press return to continue.

But it does not recover: xlibmesa-gl-dev shows with flags Bu.

It does not seem to be a download error as:


/var/cache/apt/archives# md5sum xlibmesa-gl-dev_4.3.0.dfsg.1-14sarge3_i386.deb
4c39016381606be2edeecf99079b974d xlibmesa-gl-dev_4.3.0.dfsg.1-14sarge3_i386.deb

which is the same as shown at

http://freshmeat.net/articles/view/2514/

So, what could be the problem? How to solve it?
