Hello, I have attempted several times to use my printer, an HP990. Everthing says it is there. it is has identified the model and even that it can print on both sides. But when I send the document to the printer it never prints. I've looked for spoolers but find none. I know it is something simple and will continue to look. If someone can point me in a direction I appreciate it. thanks

Sweet mother of open source! There's a blog in the new debianhelp.org?! That is so cool.... :D It's almost like this forum's got super cow powers now.

Hello

I'm new to Linux but not new to UNIX. Of some strange reason the redirection characters (< > and |) does not work even when they works on tty 2.... Can someone help me with this?
